ODE TO OUR BARB our FRIEND
Nobody was a stranger once they entered her sphere.
To one and all she was a Dear.
She was loyal to the core.
And gave of herself without keeping score
There was never any “Tit for Tat”or anything like that.
Being friends with Barb was a wonderful, adventurous, trip.
We were fortunate indeed to have her friendship.
If I needed her advice, I got a loving ear.
She never judged me, so I had nothing to fear
We all remember Barbara’s “plan B” and were often
quite thankful for this philosophy.
Thank you for being my friend, Barb, I say
You will be in my thoughts every day.
Especially when I see the birds on my walks
I will think of you and your wonderful bird talks
Barb loved and spoke of angels and believed they existed.
So now our dear friend in their arms, you are rested.
Love Deirdre Stewart

Barb, you were my first friend when I moved here and you became my adopted sister. We shared everything from laughter to tears especially laughter. We had some wonderful adventures you and I. You are now my special angel so when I am in trouble I expect you to be at my shoulder to watch over me. I will always keep you close to my heart. I miss you Barb.

I look back on all the fun we had together over the years. Barbara was always up for another adventure. I have many great memories to look back on and seeing her smiling face. So glad she was my friend.

Barbara was truly a lovely and loving person. I can remember her always making me feel important to her. I remember her frequent remark maybe to no one in particluar "play nice now". When she still baked she was always making those applesauce brownies because "they were low in fat". A beautiful person who I miss. Margie

We have known Larry and Barbara for many years, and regret that we won't be able to attend her funeral. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Larry and the family. I'm sure she is at peace now. Love, Dennis and Gay

Barbara was the most spirited, giving & loving person to be around. Because of her I was immediately accepted into the Tri-City Newcomers and made welcome in a new community. She was a joy to be around and I will remember the many years we spent as garage sale buddies. She will be truly missed.

Barbara's sunny disposition and caring ways will be greatly missed. She enriched us all with her knowledge of birds and her support of the arts in the community.

We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.
With Love and Sympathy,

Although I will be out of town and miss the services, my thoughts and prayers will be with Larry and the family. Barbara was such a support of Allied Arts. I will always remember her willingness to get anything Larry and the team might need when we were laying out the park for the Sidewalk Show. She was great at taking our lunch orders!!! Now she is at peace.
